About Tutor Mia H….

I am a tutor originally from Memphis, TN. I attended the University of Tennessee from 2015-2019 where I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I am currently a mentor to underprivileged pre-teens and I work with an Optometrist as a Doctor’s Assistant. This is a great position for me because my plan is to become an Optometrist in the next 5 years! I have tutored in the subjects of Advanced Math, Science and Physics for a program called Varsity Tutors for about 3 years. I was also a tutor for an organization called AVID, which is a college preparatory course for high school students, for about a year. In addition, I have experience tutoring freshmen in college while leading them into a healthy-eating lifestyle. So, I have tremendous experience tutoring various types of students. All in all, I look forward to tutoring you or your child on subjects relating to Math, Science and Achievement.
