About Tutor: Maja C….

I have gained strong knowledge in Applied Computer Science and Engineering from Vrije Universities Brussels (VUB) during my Master of Science. I am currently a doctorant, researcher and teaching assistant in the computer science and engineering department at VUB. I work on a daily basis on an interesting project: early detection of breast cancer by using/developing artificial intelligence algorithms. In parallel, I am also teaching Advanced Programming Concepts and Health Information Systems. I do not show the solution to students, I make them solve. I follow their way of thinking step-by-step and guide them towards finding the solutions themselves. My goal is always to boost the student’s self-confidence while teaching. I am very friendly, always thinking critically and positively at the same time. I am also very helpful to others.
